Background:
Started playing at around 16yrs, formed “Cosmic Sounds” gigging all around the South of England. The Cosmics had a recording test at the Abbey Road studios on the same day as the Shadows were there recording.
In early 70’s played in various bands that had records released (that sunk without trace). Later joined “Nitos People” and was resident band at the Preston Cross Hotel for many years. Recently have been working on cruise ships sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
Was pleased to join brother Ian when he formed “Backtrack” and am enjoying going back to my roots playing the oldies
Influences/Tastes:
Shadows Ventures, Beatles, Elvis, Who, Buddy Holly, Steely Dan, Keith Read and our Dad who encouraged Ian and me to form our first bands all those years ago.
